Front of Case - Large pocket flap holds pens and markers securely in place. Pen holders are pleated allowing for storage of small to wide marking pens. Pocket flap has a large Loop Fastener patch area on the front for Nametapes, Unit Patches or detachable options.
Interior of Case - On left side are 2 flat organizer pockets : both are 5 1/2" wide, one is 3 1/2" deep, the other is 6 3/4" deep. On right side is one flat organizer pocket: 5 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" deep. Loop Fastener area for detachable options and a pen loop for quick access. Military spec webbing securely holds 3 independent, flexible binder rings (they're 5" long cables that snap together securely with a "ball-knob socket" closure, once closed they're 1 1/2" in diameter). These super strong rings are great in wet, cold and dirty conditions and can easily be replaced if lost. They provide flexibility to the binder case making it much easier to store and use in a cramped cockpit than a conventional firm binder with rigid rings.
Optional: 30 Transparent Checklist Envelopes. These 3 Hole Vinyl Envelopes are 4 3/4" wide x 8 1/2" tall (will hold Checklists & Charts 4 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size). They're anti-glare, vinyl envelopes that are top loading. These 30 envelope pages will provide 60 views.
Rear of Case - Large zippered, 9" x 5 1/2", pocket on the reverse for securely storing items you want to access when the case is closed. We've included a 1" Military Spec Webbing Handle - makes it easy to pull the case out of those deep pockets!
Overall - The case cover is lightly padded, with closed cell foam, for extra shock resistance. The padding also gives the case a firm overall feel without making it too rigid.
